The Village Council is composed of six elected members. The current council members are; Patricia Edington, Darryl Chidsey, Gregory Oakes, Rick Robbs, Nancy Powell and Terence Bittner.
Specific Village Council duties include adopting/amending laws, establishing policies, approving budgets and spending priorities, and approving contracts/agreements. Village Council also considers recommendations from the village boards and commission.
Formal Council meetings generally occur the first Tuesday of each month. All of these meetings are open to the public, unless otherwise advertised as part of an executive session. Council may have executive sessions to discuss personnel, real estate or litigation related matters.
